Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rastislav Štefka hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pawlikow's zone, Jakub Břečka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miroslav Fousek came out of the goal and Jakub Břečka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bohumír Šefl fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BRNO's protests and gave Bohumír Šefl a yellow card for diving instead. 14 minutes into the match, Bohumír Šefl notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pawlikow's Miroslav Fousek. Miroslav Fousek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Branislav Topič fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pawlikow's protests and gave Branislav Topič a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Nikolas Svejkovský hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludvík Houžvička during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Pawlikow got a freekick which was hit by Ludvík Houžvička. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakub Břečka in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Fousek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomáš Pešek in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Fousek saved Pawlikow from getting behind. Miroslav Fousek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Pešek in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Alexander Novosád dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjamin Kristek, 1-2. In the 34th minute, one of FC BRNO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC BRNO. Bohumír Šefl kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Branislav Topič, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Novosád in the 43rd minute of play forced FC BRNO's goalkeeper Benjamin Kristek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC BRNO's Benjamin Kristek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Novosád in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomáš Pešek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexander Novosád took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Kristek. Benjamin Kristek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Benjamin Kristek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvík Houžvička, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, FC BRNO's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Novosád came free, but Benjamin Kristek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Václav Hub took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Miroslav Fousek to make any attempt to save it. Rastislav Štefka's late challenge caught a FC BRNO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rastislav Štefka helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Pawlikow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rastislav Štefka to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, FC BRNO's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Vrbický came free, but Benjamin Kristek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC BRNO's Benjamin Kristek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Novosád in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute Alexander Novosád shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Kristek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, FC BRNO's Bohumír Šefl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miroslav Fousek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin Kristek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Alexander Novosád shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Kristek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexander Novosád struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Benjamin Kristek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pawlikow. 92 minutes into the game, Pawlikow's Osvald Vrbický nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Kristek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Pawlikow's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
