The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Killers's goalkeeper Čestmír Hába, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tibor Ondrášek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Čestmír Hába made a huge save. The supporters of Koneprusy booed when FC Killers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oldřich Šmídl didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Čestmír Hába managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Koneprusy's Tibor Ondrášek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Oldřich Šmídl's late challenge caught a Koneprusy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
