But to his dismay, Ivan Brůna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 43rd match minute, FC Slovan Liberec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdeněk Stoklasa to maneuver through the defense. The FC Jablonec players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Slovan Liberec were winning 0-9.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zdeněk Stoklasa made a kick off. Zdeněk Stoklasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Josef Frič made a huge save. Jan Šebor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, FC Jablonec's Josef Frič got control of the ball when Zdeněk Stoklasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Josef Frič yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15. Josef Frič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from František Jíra in the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zdeněk Stoklasa got free with Josef Frič in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Josef Frič didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from František Jíra went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-16 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the game, FC Slovan Liberec's František Jíra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josef Frič made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-17. FC Slovan Liberec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
