With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Oriche Isazi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernt Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Adrian Dreifuss fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernt Ånger quite easily take care of the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Aresti Tello put in a rough tackle. A collision led to VERDOLAGA CITY FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Aresti Tello hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in VERDOLAGA CITY FC's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernt Ånger came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Oriol Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Ånger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xande Cavani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Albin Holweck might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernt Ånger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Holweck ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a VERDOLAGA CITY FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 51stth minute of the game Xande Cavani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xande Cavani in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oriol Loyola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Xande Cavani put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oriol Loyola in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 65th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. When Janik Vogt fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Janik Vogt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Xande Cavani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Marcus Rashford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xande Cavani's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 81st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
