A collision led to Blubb FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Virgil Feer hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Juerg Haag had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbano Eberhardt. Blubb FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juerg Haag was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Juerg Haag came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Cimadera SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juerg Haag couldn't finish the play. Blubb FC's Patrick Gasser got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19thth minute of the game Gualtier Sigrist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cimadera SC's Lorenzo Bérard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juerg Haag in the 21st minute of play forced Blubb FC's goalkeeper Urbano Eberhardt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Patrick Gasser notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cimadera SC's Lorenzo Bérard. Lorenzo Bérard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Blubb FC! Damien Eggers walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of Cimadera SC booed when Blubb FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Marbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olof Wyser's late challenge caught a Blubb FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Wyser helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cimadera SC's Olof Wyser got a free kick in the 40th minute. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Gualtier Sigrist took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Lorenzo Bérard to make any attempt to save it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregor Foerster made a kick off. Olof Wyser hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Blubb FC booed when Cimadera SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juerg Haag didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gregor Foerster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregor Foerster in the 56th minute of play forced Blubb FC's goalkeeper Urbano Eberhardt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Patrick Gasser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blubb FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Gasser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Bérard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juerg Haag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Eberhardt having to interfere. Juerg Haag in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urbano Eberhardt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cimadera SC's Lorenzo Bérard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualtier Sigrist in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute Gualtier Sigrist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Bérard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
