Spectators: 7643 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jaime Simon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jaime Simon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Maurizio Faoccia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Riccardo Vogt got free with Maxime Kohler in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maxime Kohler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchior Bader in the 11th minute of play. Maurizio Faoccia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Simon in the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gordy Naumann during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gordy Naumann hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Suisse's zone, Nick Hermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurizio Faoccia came out of the goal and Nick Hermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurizio Faoccia came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Udinese's Gordy Naumann. But to his dismay, Gordy Naumann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th minute Gordy Naumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurizio Faoccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Simon took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurizio Faoccia. Maurizio Faoccia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Suisse's goal looked a bit too open when Silvan Stössel came free, but Maurizio Faoccia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Nick Hermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurizio Faoccia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Ernst Büchler put in a rough tackle. Gordy Naumann hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Udinese booed when Suisse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchior Bader didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurizio Faoccia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Hermann in the 40th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 林景思 made a kick off. Maurizio Faoccia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvan Stössel in the 53rd minute of play. After 53 minutes, Melchior Bader mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suisse and the Udinese players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Suisse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchior Bader to maneuver through the defense. Nick Hermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Maurizio Faoccia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolphe Balmer in the 58th minute of play forced Suisse's goalkeeper Maurizio Faoccia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurizio Faoccia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordy Naumann in the 67th minute of the match. 林景思's late challenge caught a Udinese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 林景思 helped the player get up and apologised. Maurizio Faoccia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvan Stössel in the 71st minute. Jaime Simon kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 75 minutes of play, Suisse's 林景思 made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Kohler was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th match minute, Suisse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragan Dagenais to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 78 minutes, Nick Hermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Udinese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nick Hermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Suisse's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Silvan Stössel 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. After 83 played minutes Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Gordy Naumann. Riccardo Vogt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Kohler having to interfere. Maxime Kohler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 林景思 in the 86th minute of play. Olivier Paly made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Udinese's Simone Pfaff. With a little luck, Suisse's Maurizio Faoccia got control of the ball when Simone Pfaff tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Rodolphe Balmer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurizio Faoccia. The goal made the score 1-5. The Suisse fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Udinese were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
