Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Jourdain Stahl started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jimmy Koller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Gautier Archambault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Lew Strickler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jourdain Stahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Howie Nietlispach having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Arni's David D'Angelo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Howie Nietlispach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jourdain Stahl in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Luciano Langelier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nigel Idelberger kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Arni getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jimmy Koller hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimmy Koller made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Luciano Langelier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arni's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Langelier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivier Henseler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Koller in the 58th minute of play forced Kaiseraugst's goalkeeper Olivier Henseler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arni's Howie Nietlispach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jourdain Stahl in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Arni's zone, Salomon Fankhauser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Howie Nietlispach came out of the goal and Salomon Fankhauser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Arni getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fidelio Bettinelli hit a great ball. Howie Nietlispach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gautier Archambault in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Arni getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Nigel Idelberger hit a great ball. Howie Nietlispach stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jourdain Stahl's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. A collision led to Arni getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rafael Van Geestel hit a great ball. In the 97thth minute of the game Jourdain Stahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arni's Howie Nietlispach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chants of Arni echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Kaiseraugst had held the ball for most of the match.
