Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Benoit Affentranger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Tafers's Felix Strobel got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes, Arsenal FC's Leopoldo Jardan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alix Weber came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arsenal FC reached it. Arsenal FC's Evandro Hames got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Arsenal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Askberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th match minute, Tafers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandor Werfel to maneuver through the defense. The Arsenal FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Arsenal FC's Evandro Hames looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 23rd minute of the match, Benoit Affentranger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Lüdi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arsenal FC's Gustavo Lüdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benoit Affentranger in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Benoit Affentranger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Lüdi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsenal FC's Gustavo Lüdi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal FC from getting a goal against them. Manfred Duerr kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Pascal Seiler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Lüdi. Arsenal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39th minute, Simjon Mahle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Lüdi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gustavo Lüdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoit Affentranger in the 42nd minute of the match. If Benoit Affentranger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Arsenal FC's Gustavo Lüdi got control of the ball when Simjon Mahle tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Alix Weber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Hames in the 59th minute of play. Gustavo Lüdi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simjon Mahle went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gustavo Lüdi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoit Affentranger in the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simjon Mahle came free, but Gustavo Lüdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, John Askberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but John Askberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alix Weber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenal FC made a substitution. Jim Hager replaced Vittore Zihlmann. After a rather tough play, Tafers's Homer Meisser got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Tafers's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Hames came free, but Alix Weber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Lüdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simjon Mahle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoit Affentranger in the 88th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Lüdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal FC's zone, Simjon Mahle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Lüdi came out of the goal and Simjon Mahle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenal FC's Gustavo Lüdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simjon Mahle in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tafers fully deserved thier win.
