Rüderswil's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvator Gärtner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Eigner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nicolas Trüssel fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grenn FC's protests and gave Nicolas Trüssel a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Grenn FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Trüssel. The long shot by Martin Belarmo in the 29th minute really tested Orlando Eigner's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Martin Belarmo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Orlando Eigner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Belarmo made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Lucius Vogt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rüderswil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
