Adalbero Summermatter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justus Weyermann in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Kesswil SC's Roger Wexler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tade Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adalbero Summermatter made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ronny Dahinden sent off a good shot on target. In the 13thth minute of the game Roger Wexler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sursee144's Tade Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justus Weyermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Adalbero Summermatter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Dahinden took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adalbero Summermatter. Adalbero Summermatter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Ronny Dahinden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 25 in the game by Ronny Dahinden from a close distance when the talented Adalbero Summermatter managed to make a qualified save. Kesswil SC's players were relieved. In the 26th minute Lucas Bircher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalbero Summermatter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Justus Weyermann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adalbero Summermatter was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Sursee144's Ronny Dahinden got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Kesswil SC got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Wyder. After a defensive mix-up in Kesswil SC's zone, Justus Weyermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalbero Summermatter came out of the goal and Justus Weyermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Wexler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kesswil SC booed when Sursee144 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Bircher didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justus Weyermann made a kick off. Kesswil SC's Adalbero Summermatter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justus Weyermann in the 51st minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Sursee144 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Uliassi to maneuver through the defense. Sursee144's John Blattmer suffered a sore thigh after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 56 minutes, Arrigo Wyder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kesswil SC and the Sursee144 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronny Dahinden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adalbero Summermatter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Bircher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adalbero Summermatter having to make a save. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kesswil SC's goalkeeper Adalbero Summermatter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronny Dahinden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adalbero Summermatter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Hegnauer in the 76th minute of play. Ronny Dahinden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adalbero Summermatter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. If Cornelius Basciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tade Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Wexler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ronny Dahinden came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Sursee144 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Dahinden couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Dahinden in the 90th minute of play forced Kesswil SC's goalkeeper Adalbero Summermatter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Kesswil SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Dahinden came free, but Adalbero Summermatter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Arrigo Wyder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sursee144's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
