After a rather tough play, Landbrugg's Serenus Sommer got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Landbrugg's Hubert Larivière sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruce Lautens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathias Thoma kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Antoine Schumacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Lautens having to interfere. When Paco Greter fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landbrugg's protests and gave Paco Greter a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Paco Greter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bex's Augustin Hachée couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Landbrugg. Antoine Schumacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 minutes, Peter Ziegler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bex and the Landbrugg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Bex got a freekick which was hit by Peter Ziegler. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubert Larivière in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruce Lautens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antoine Schumacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bruce Lautens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Bex's goal looked a bit too open when Hubert Larivière came free, but Bruce Lautens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Bex's goal looked a bit too open when Antoine Schumacher came free, but Bruce Lautens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antoine Schumacher made a kick off. Arthur Bellomo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Thoma, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donald Breitenstein in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Bellomo saved Landbrugg from getting behind. The supporters of Landbrugg booed when Bex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endrik Bayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoine Schumacher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Bruce Lautens made a huge save. Arthur Bellomo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Thoma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruce Lautens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Schumacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Hubert Larivière in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bruce Lautens, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Antoine Schumacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Lautens having to interfere. Bruce Lautens came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Landbrugg's Hubert Larivière. But to his dismay, Hubert Larivière quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bex's zone, Hubert Larivière stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruce Lautens came out of the goal and Hubert Larivière tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
