A beautiful save bye SG Obercrinitz's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Sursee144 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ali Kağan Varlık hit a great ball. After 14 minutes, Victor Tenaglia made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. SG Obercrinitz's Rory Gärtner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Tenaglia in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rory Gärtner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Tenaglia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Rory Gärtner made a huge save. Victor Tenaglias short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Rory Gärtner to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sursee144 were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after SG Obercrinitz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Willem Schorta took the corner. The corner led Sursee144's Willem Schorta to fire away a dangerous shot which Rory Gärtner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mischa Fassbind kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Victor Tenaglia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SG Obercrinitz's Rory Gärtner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Tenaglia in the 34th minute of play. Jakob Cornetti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Rory Gärtner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Victor Tenaglia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jakob Cornetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rory Gärtner having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Pietro Ceccarelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dick De Inierry was the one to do the kick off. Victor Tenaglia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rory Gärtner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sursee144 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Fox Pfister, was totally fooled by SG Obercrinitz's Flemming Zwahlen, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Sursee144's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Dick De Inierry scored to the left of an out of position Fox Pfister, making the score, 1-2. With a little luck, Sursee144's Fox Pfister got control of the ball when Dick De Inierry tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, SG Obercrinitz's goal looked a bit too open when Irenäus Netzer came free, but Rory Gärtner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, SG Obercrinitz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick De Inierry to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
