Gioacchino Henchoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicola Scherer having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Rohner made a kick off. F.C. LUZERN's Nicola Scherer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Rohner in the 52nd minute of play. Jud Baum's late challenge caught a Magliasina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jud Baum helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, F.C.
