Riccardo Troxler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rupert Junker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Ausserdinhard HC's Rupert Junker threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jeremias Troxler, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Marin Weniger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Răducioiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 24th minute Sandy Kastner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rupert Junker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Cotuțiu in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marin Weniger saved Ausserdinhard HC from getting behind. Eugen Bircher hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Florin Răducioiu charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florin Răducioiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes FC Internazionale Sirnach got a freekick which was hit by Florin Răducioiu. After 33 played minutes, FC Internazionale Sirnach's Daniele Steinmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marin Weniger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Internazionale Sirnach reached it. Marin Weniger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Cotuțiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Florin Răducioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marin Weniger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remus Cotuțiu got in the 37th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marin Weniger handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remus Cotuțiu to strike the kick off in the second half. With 53 minutes on the clock, Farid Boeck commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of FC Internazionale Sirnach:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ausserdinhard HC:s goal. The referee gave Ausserdinhard HC a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stuart Jost, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Internazionale Sirnach's Rupert Junker. 1-0. Rupert Junker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Troxler in the 58th minute of play. Rupert Junker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Troxler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Gschwind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marin Weniger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Florin Răducioiu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 73 minutes, Alonzo Fellmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ausserdinhard HC and the FC Internazionale Sirnach players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alonzo Fellmann hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ausserdinhard HC defense, Rolf Kreienbühl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marin Weniger. The Ausserdinhard HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marin Weniger should have stopped the shot. Alonzo Fellmann took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rupert Junker. Rupert Junker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Rupert Junker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugen Bircher went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jeremias Troxler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rupert Junker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ausserdinhard HC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Internazionale Sirnach had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
