Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Glenn De la Cruz made the kick off and thus started the match. Hugh Kohler's late challenge caught a Schlieren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugh Kohler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Real Madrid C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugh Kohler to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Bob Mändli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madrid C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Schlieren the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Real Madrid C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Mändli to maneuver through the defense. Fabrice Hüsler didn't quite understand what happened when in the 19 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. A collision led to Schlieren getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Fabrice Hüsler hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Widmer in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Odysseus Hammer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Glenn De la Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominic Schermann was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. If Matthew Pierucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Schlieren's Lucien Ebersbach got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Widmer in the 38th minute of play forced Schlieren's goalkeeper Odysseus Hammer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn De la Cruz in the 40th minute of play forced Real Madrid C.F.'s goalkeeper Dominic Schermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes Real Madrid C.F.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ischy Brand who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ischy Brand got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dominic Schermann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matthew Pierucci struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Dominic Schermann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schlieren. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Widmer to make the kick off. If Matthew Pierucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominic Schermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn De la Cruz in the 59th minute of the match. Hugh Kohler got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Hugh Kohler kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid C.F.'s zone, Matthew Pierucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominic Schermann came out of the goal and Matthew Pierucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominic Schermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn De la Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Feliciano Caron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Madrid C.F.'s Dominic Schermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn De la Cruz in the 66th minute of play. When Fabrice Hüsler fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schlieren's protests and gave Fabrice Hüsler a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Schlieren getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fabrice Hüsler hit a great ball. Maxi Ciprella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Schlieren's Glenn De la Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominic Schermann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maxi Ciprella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odysseus Hammer having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Schlieren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrice Hüsler to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Matthew Pierucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dominic Schermann. Real Madrid C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthew Pierucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Matthew Pierucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schlieren's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew Pierucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic Schermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glenn De la Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dominic Schermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid C.F.'s zone, Matthew Pierucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominic Schermann came out of the goal and Matthew Pierucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliciano Caron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glenn De la Cruz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominic Schermann came out and tried to block the shot, but Glenn De la Cruz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 95th minute. Schlieren's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
