Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Severin Wyss took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Severin Wyss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 minutes, Nikodemus Hunkeler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birtschen HC and the Club 99 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Birtschen HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikodemus Hunkeler to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Club 99's Anatolij Steinmann tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Leif Waltispühl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Willi Pfister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alwin Bütler made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Willi Pfister sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Birtschen HC's Alwin Bütler got control of the ball when Willi Pfister tried to sneak it across the goal line. Willi Pfister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Birtschen HC's zone, Thorben Campa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alwin Bütler came out of the goal and Thorben Campa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Birtschen HC's Alwin Bütler got control of the ball when Willi Pfister tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alwin Bütler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorben Campa in the 42nd minute of play. With his leg Alwin Bütler managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Club 99's Willi Pfister fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alwin Bütler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorben Campa in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thorben Campa was the one to do the kick off. Alwin Bütler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorben Campa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thorben Campa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Alwin Bütler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Thorben Campa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thorben Campa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birtschen HC's Alwin Bütler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thorben Campa in the 67th minute of play. If Willi Pfister had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 76 minutes into the game, when Abraham Witzig put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Birtschen HC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club 99:s goal. The referee gave Club 99 a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anatolij Steinmann, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Birtschen HC's Alwin Bütler. 1-0. Willi Pfister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alwin Bütler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alwin Bütler came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Club 99's Thorben Campa. But to his dismay, Thorben Campa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 91st play minute Leif Waltispühl came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Josef Bühlmann. 2-1. 96 minutes in the game, Leif Waltispühl fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Josef Bühlmann having to interfere. Gregoire Theissen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Bühlmann having to interfere. Club 99 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Birtschen HC for a fine match.
