Versace United's Benignus Apicella got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marvin Simon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Bühlmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillaume Probst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Versace United's Oskar Polonia got control of the ball when Jo Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Josef Bühlmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Alon Wiesinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Bühlmann having to interfere. If Guillaume Probst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Versace United got a freekick which was hit by Benignus Apicella. Willi Pfister came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oskar Polonia could save by the left post. When Versace United's Marvin Simon in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club 99's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Versace United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Thorben Campa made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Club 99:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Versace United:s goal. Josef Bühlmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marvin Simon, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorben Campa in the 59th minute of play forced Versace United's goalkeeper Oskar Polonia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Marvin Simon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Josef Bühlmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guillaume Probst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Club 99 defense, Alon Wiesinger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josef Bühlmann. The Club 99 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josef Bühlmann should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Alon Wiesinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club 99's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Marvin Simon scored to the left of an out of position Josef Bühlmann, making the score, 1-6. After 81 played minutes Club 99 got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Waldburger. If Alon Wiesinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club 99's zone, Kaj Iosif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Bühlmann came out of the goal and Kaj Iosif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rocky Hügli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tade Walder was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 92 played minutes Club 99 got a freekick which was hit by Tade Walder. Versace United's Guillaume Probst got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willi Pfister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Versace United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club 99.
