The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Raffaello Bachelard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. K12 Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carlo Cokxxx Nutten the free kick. The supporters of Carlo Cokxxx Nutten booed when K12 Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raffaello Bachelard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keith Steinmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garry Nietlisbach having to interfere. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind K12 Academy's goalkeeper Garry Nietlisbach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emmanuel Schmid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Klemens Ducharme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Mottolese got free with Klemens Ducharme in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Carlo Cokxxx Nutten's zone, Matthias Mottolese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klemens Ducharme came out of the goal and Matthias Mottolese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gereon Nolle came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Carlo Cokxxx Nutten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gereon Nolle couldn't finish the play. Garry Nietlisbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Steinmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Carlo Cokxxx Nutten's Klemens Ducharme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuel Schmid in the 27th minute of play. Matthias Mottolese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanuel Schmid to make the kick off. Klemens Ducharme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Schmid, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Emmanuel Schmid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klemens Ducharme having to interfere. After 61 played minutes K12 Academy got a freekick which was hit by Tran Verplanken. Sylvain Charpie, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gereon Nolle came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Garry Nietlisbach could save by the left post. Matthias Mottolese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Klemens Ducharme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Emmanuel Schmid came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the K12 Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Schmid couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, K12 Academy's goalkeeper Garry Nietlisbach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gereon Nolle. Sylvain Charpie charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sylvain Charpie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, one of Carlo Cokxxx Nutten:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carlo Cokxxx Nutten. Garry Nietlisbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Steinmann in the 91st minute of play. When Keith Steinmann came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Carlo Cokxxx Nutten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keith Steinmann couldn't finish the play. In the 94th match minute, K12 Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Feer to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the K12 Academy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
