If LucaLucan Müller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Giacomini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matteo Wocher kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jonas Giacomini struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Garry Nietlisbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Huttwil. Abel Grondin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Schmid's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a little luck, SC Huttwil's Abel Grondin got control of the ball when Matthias Mottolese tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matthias Mottolese let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 34th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. If Emmanuel Schmid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Schmid in the 45th minute of play forced SC Huttwil's goalkeeper Abel Grondin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, K12 Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Giacomini came free, but Garry Nietlisbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Giacomini to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind K12 Academy's goalkeeper Garry Nietlisbach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Freddy Blum hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes, Tran Verplanken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the K12 Academy and the SC Huttwil players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, K12 Academy's Tran Verplanken got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Matthias Mottolese managed to get in a good position for a shot. K12 Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Mottolese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Grondin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, K12 Academy's Nat Louis got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Matthias Mottolese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, SC Huttwil's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Schmid came free, but Abel Grondin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. K12 Academy's Matthias Mottolese got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Dario Stöckli got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Michael Rütimann's late challenge caught a SC Huttwil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Rütimann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Michael Rütimann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Giacomini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd match minute, K12 Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephane Schnieper to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
