Spectators: 7797 (Terracing: 5849, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pierre Bregenzer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Matthias Mottolese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Tittone having to interfere. A collision led to Starlera FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tom Lejeune hit a great ball. Dominique Tittone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Mottolese, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Matthias Mottolese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Tittone having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Mottolese in the 13th minute of play forced Starlera FC's goalkeeper Dominique Tittone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stephane Schnieper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominique Tittone having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Emmanuel Schmid managed to get in a good position for a shot. K12 Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanuel Schmid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominique Tittone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthias Mottolese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Matthias Mottolese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, K12 Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Bregenzer came free, but Garry Nietlisbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanuel Schmid to make the kick off. Garry Nietlisbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giulio Otter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emmanuel Schmid in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominique Tittone saved Starlera FC from getting behind. Demetrius Hengemühl kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Pierre Bregenzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Garry Nietlisbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to K12 Academy getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Michael Rütimann hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Schmid in the 73rd minute of play forced Starlera FC's goalkeeper Dominique Tittone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominique Tittone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanuel Schmid in the 76th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brendan Hunzinger in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Garry Nietlisbach saved K12 Academy from getting behind. Emmanuel Schmid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierre Bregenzer struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Garry Nietlisbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Starlera FC. 96 minutes into the match, K12 Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Bregenzer came free, but Garry Nietlisbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. K12 Academy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
