After a defensive mix-up in Pruntrut's zone, Marius Lötscher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Lessard came out of the goal and Marius Lötscher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Douglas Eisenhauer hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12thth minute of the game Hennes Caisse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pruntrut's Marcel Lessard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Youth Project Switzerland's Gunther Ehrenbolger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberius Kuefer in the 14th minute of play. Cäsar Füglister was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Youth Project Switzerland! Youth Project Switzerland:s Gunther Ehrenbolger showed great skill when he stopped Tom Lambrozzi:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberius Kuefer in the 19th minute of play forced Youth Project Switzerland's goalkeeper Gunther Ehrenbolger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hennes Caisse struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Marcel Lessard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Youth Project Switzerland. 28 minutes into the match, Youth Project Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberius Kuefer came free, but Gunther Ehrenbolger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederic Olivieri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Lessard having to make a save. Youth Project Switzerland's Gunther Ehrenbolger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Youth Project Switzerland from getting a goal against them. Gunther Ehrenbolger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberius Kuefer in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hennes Caisse in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Lessard saved Pruntrut from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiberius Kuefer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hennes Caisse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Lessard having to make a save. Hennes Caisse who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Marcel Lessard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Hennes Caisse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marius Lötscher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Lessard having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Hennes Caisse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Youth Project Switzerland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hennes Caisse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcel Lessard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hennes Caisse went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 73 minutes, Mitja Imboden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pruntrut and the Youth Project Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Pruntrut:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Youth Project Switzerland:s goal. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Youth Project Switzerland's Donatello Brandt got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcel Lessard. In the 80th match minute, Youth Project Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Mehrtens to maneuver through the defense. Hennes Caisse did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Marcel Lessard 84 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Gerard Vonwyl in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Youth Project Switzerland's Frederic Olivieri. The audience was convinced that Hennes Caisse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Lessard was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Youth Project Switzerland's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
