In the 16th match minute, fc schaffhausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Witschard to maneuver through the defense. Ellison Affentranger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Brix, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mauro Biermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucien Bugnon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torin Ryf who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Mauro Biermann when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucien Bugnon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucien Bugnon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Mauro Biermann 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Luc Brix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sementina's Nikita Brünisholz got a free kick in the 39th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luc Brix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauro Biermann came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Sementina's Torin Ryf. But to his dismay, Torin Ryf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Luc Brix had several of the Sementina's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Ellison Affentranger as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ramon Haefeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ellison Affentranger having to interfere. Pascal Reinhard kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sementina's zone, Luc Brix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ellison Affentranger came out of the goal and Luc Brix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, fc schaffhausen's Luc Brix dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Ramon Haefeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ellison Affentranger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luc Brix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ellison Affentranger having to interfere. The fc schaffhausen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
