The supporters of Fc Kuny booed when besan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Räss didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Bauhofer in the 40th minute of play forced besan's goalkeeper Johnny Mazuret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, besan's Clayton Zarrella nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
