An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Zarrella in the 15th minute of play forced Karakartal JK's goalkeeper Artur Walter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Zeiher during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, besan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Wüst to maneuver through the defense. Patrizio Borner charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrizio Borner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrizio Borner kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Francois Strebel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnny Mazuret read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, besan's goal looked a bit too open when Francois Strebel came free, but Johnny Mazuret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Matthias Zeiher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johnny Mazuret. besan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Zeiher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Francois Strebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Francois Strebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Franklin Amsel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karakartal JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave besan the free kick. In the 39th minute, Franklin Amsel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Walter acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Patrick Wüst. In the 43rd minute, Ulric Erasmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Walter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Johnny Mazuret made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francois Strebel in the 52nd minute. Matthias Zeiher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Johnny Mazuret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Ulric Erasmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. besan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karakartal JK the free kick. After 57 played minutes besan got a freekick which was hit by Ulric Erasmo. In the 62nd minute, Gregory Waller made a precise shot to the right of Artur Walter. Karakartal JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Karakartal JK's Artur Walter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Zarrella in the 65th minute of play. If Ulric Erasmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Denis Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Ulric Erasmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Walter. Karakartal JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulric Erasmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Fabrizio Fridli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Johnny Mazuret firmly grabbed it by the left post. Patrizio Borner got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Patrizio Borner hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Johnny Mazuret made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Francois Strebel sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Karakartal JK booed when besan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Solomon Geiger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Matthias Zeiher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Mazuret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match Franklin Amsel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnny Mazuret skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, besan could leave the field as winners, despite Karakartal JK having more of the ball for most of the match.
