Spectators: 5006 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1002, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gianluca Bauhofer got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Gianluca Bauhofer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mauro Biermann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luc Brix struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Martin Mauer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fc schaffhausen. Loic Jäggi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herbert Pascolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Haefeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Mauer having to interfere. Mauro Biermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Bauhofer in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Haefeli got free with Martin Mauer in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luc Brix in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Mauer saved Fc Kuny from getting behind. If Ramon Haefeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Mauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luc Brix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc Kuny's Renatus Pfeifer pulled a muscle in his leg after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 43 minutes into the game, Abraham Witschard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fc schaffhausen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Kuny the free kick. A collision led to fc schaffhausen getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Abraham Witschard hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Luc Brix managed to get in a good position for a shot. fc schaffhausen's supporters rose to their feet, but Luc Brix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Mauer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fc schaffhausen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fc Kuny were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Luc Brix made the kick off in the second half. Martin Mauer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luc Brix's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Gianluca Bauhofer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. fc schaffhausen's Luc Brix got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lukas Catalano fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Kuny's protests and gave Lukas Catalano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Luc Brix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abraham Witschard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luc Brix came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the fc schaffhausen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luc Brix couldn't finish the play. Martin Mauer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Haefeli went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 71 played minutes Fc Kuny got a freekick which was hit by Forrester Crook. Ramon Haefeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Mauer having to interfere. Martin Mauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Haefeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Luc Brix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Mauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobi Uliassi kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a little luck, fc schaffhausen's Mauro Biermann got control of the ball when Herbert Pascolo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramon Haefeli might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Mauer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ramon Haefeli ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that fc schaffhausen were the better team. fc schaffhausen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
