Chlötzlibieger's Amadeus Beaudry was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but LucaLucan Peyer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Josias Ebersbacher fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Janisen 7's protests and gave Josias Ebersbacher a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chlötzlibieger booed when FC Janisen 7 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josias Ebersbacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Art Helfenstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Burkart in the 11th minute of play. If Emery Palorini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Chlötzlibieger got a freekick which was hit by Helge Zuber. In the 27th minute, Roberto Lisibach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Art Helfenstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josias Ebersbacher in the 28th minute of play. Josias Ebersbacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Art Helfenstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Josias Ebersbacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emery Palorini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without LucaLucan Peyer having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Josias Ebersbacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Janisen 7's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josias Ebersbacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Falk Portmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emery Palorini was the one to do the kick off. Josias Ebersbacher struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Art Helfenstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Janisen 7. If Arno Burkart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Josias Ebersbacher came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC Janisen 7 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josias Ebersbacher couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, FC Janisen 7 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Zahno to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Emery Palorini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but LucaLucan Peyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Falk Portmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falk Portmann in the 86th minute of play forced FC Janisen 7's goalkeeper LucaLucan Peyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falk Portmann charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Falk Portmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Chlötzlibieger getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Falk Portmann hit a great ball. Art Helfenstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josias Ebersbacher in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the game, Harald Zahno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Janisen 7's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chlötzlibieger the free kick.
