The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luc Brix was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Matthias Zeiher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Biermann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Zeiher in the 65th minute of the match. Ramon Haefeli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Artur Walter made a huge save. Luc Brix who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Artur Walter when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, fc schaffhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Francois Strebel came free, but Mauro Biermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Tétrault could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Artur Walter made a huge save. Mauro Biermann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Barth in the 86th minute of play. Francois Strebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Biermann having to interfere. Fabrizio Fridli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mauro Biermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Karakartal JK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing fc schaffhausen to win.
