Spectators: 7688 (Terracing: 5767, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gianluca Bauhofer started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francois Strebel got free with Martin Mauer in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 4th match minute, Fc Kuny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel Pfändler to maneuver through the defense. Denis Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Karakartal JK booed when Fc Kuny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatus Pfeifer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Renatus Pfeifer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Walter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renatus Pfeifer took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Walter. Artur Walter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Pascolo in the 20th minute of play forced Karakartal JK's goalkeeper Artur Walter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Fridli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Martin Mauer made a huge save. Martin Mauer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francois Strebel in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Karakartal JK's Francois Strebel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Mauer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Fabrizio Fridli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Denis Gerber hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Fc Kuny's Forrester Crook tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Gianluca Bauhofer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Walter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karakartal JK's Matthias Zeiher got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Karakartal JK's Fabrizio Fridli in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Kuny's goalie prevented a goal. Fc Kuny's Martin Mauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Zeiher in the 69th minute of play. Francois Strebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Mauer having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Kuny's goalkeeper Martin Mauer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Zeiher in the 94th minute of play forced Fc Kuny's goalkeeper Martin Mauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lukas Catalano hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Karakartal JK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Fc Kuny to leave the ground with a draw.
