Spectators: 7721 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Johnny Mazuret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Zeiher in the 2nd minute of the match. Francois Strebel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnny Mazuret having to make a save. Matthias Zeiher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Gregory Waller notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Karakartal JK's Artur Walter. Artur Walter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artur Walter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karakartal JK's goalkeeper Artur Walter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Walter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Waller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Karakartal JK's Denis Gerber ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johnny Mazuret. Johnny Mazuret yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After a rather tough play, besan's Solomon Geiger got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Matthias Zeiher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Mazuret having to interfere. If Matthias Zeiher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denis Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Francois Strebel made the kick off in the second half. When Matthias Zeiher came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Karakartal JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthias Zeiher couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in besan's zone, Fabrizio Fridli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Mazuret came out of the goal and Fabrizio Fridli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francois Strebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnny Mazuret having to interfere. Artur Walter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregory Waller in the 66th minute. In the 66th match minute, Karakartal JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Gerber to maneuver through the defense. Gregory Waller's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Artur Walter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Karakartal JK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Denis Gerber hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Zarrella in the 75th minute of play forced Karakartal JK's goalkeeper Artur Walter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Johnny Mazuret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. besan's Johnny Mazuret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francois Strebel in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Karakartal JK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Wigand Büchel hit a great ball. Karakartal JK's Artur Walter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Karakartal JK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in besan's zone, Fabrizio Fridli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Mazuret came out of the goal and Fabrizio Fridli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karakartal JK's Francois Strebel got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
