Maxi Schläpfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe Rohn, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Luca Bur hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Zinal's Maxi Schläpfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Graber in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Christian Hess took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Björn Desruisseaux to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot 34 in the game by Falk Manta from a close distance when the talented Björn Desruisseaux managed to make a qualified save. Lootscher FC's players were relieved. A collision led to Lootscher FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Peter Sevier hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and James Graber made a kick off. 55 minutes in the game, James Graber fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maxi Schläpfer having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, James Graber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lootscher FC's supporters rose to their feet, but James Graber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxi Schläpfer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Levi Hurschler hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. James Graber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maxi Schläpfer came out and tried to block the shot, but James Graber slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 71st minute. Philippe Rohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Levi Hurschler kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Maxi Schläpfer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philippe Rohn in the 78th minute. If Luca Bur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lootscher FC's Björn Desruisseaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Hess in the 85th minute of play. Zinal's Christian Hess got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Lootscher FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Hess came free, but Björn Desruisseaux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
