Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Hess in the 11th minute of play forced Berna FC's goalkeeper Loic Lindemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zinal's Maxi Schläpfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Frère in the 14th minute of play. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Raymond Kobel sped through Zinal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxi Schläpfer. In the 28th match minute, Zinal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elian Batsch to maneuver through the defense. Luca Bur's late challenge caught a Berna FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Bur helped the player get up and apologised. Luca Bur kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Zinal's goal looked a bit too open when Hampton Jeker came free, but Maxi Schläpfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Bur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loic Lindemann having to interfere. If Nepomuk Sigrist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Maxi Schläpfer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raymond Kobel was the one to do the kick off. Maxi Schläpfer made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Marius Frère sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elian Batsch during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Elian Batsch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Raymond Kobel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Berna FC booed when Zinal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Bur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elian Batsch hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Marius Frère could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Maxi Schläpfer made a huge save. In the 76th minute Christian Hess shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loic Lindemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marius Frère's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maxi Schläpfer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marius Frère scored 0-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxi Schläpfer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 86 minutes, Marius Frère managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berna FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Frère was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raymond Kobel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxi Schläpfer having to interfere. Raymond Kobel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Maxi Schläpfer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Zinal's Maxi Schläpfer got control of the ball when Marius Frère tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Zinal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Berna FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
