FC Wattenwil's Joe Füglister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Egemann in the 6th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Donald Aebi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Donald Aebi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joe Füglister having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Grodei SC's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Thaler came free, but Oscar Daecher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amandus Huber took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Daecher. Grodei SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Noah Graf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wattenwil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grodei SC the free kick. Donald Aebi took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joe Füglister. Joe Füglister dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Oscar Daecher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noah Graf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Grodei SC got a freekick which was hit by Pete Jaeger. Noah Graf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Daecher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noah Graf in the 32nd minute of the match. Grodei SC's Oscar Daecher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noah Graf in the 34th minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Thomas Egemann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wattenwil's Joe Füglister was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Noah Graf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Daecher was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Grodei SC's Oscar Daecher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Grodei SC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Wattenwil getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fidelis Donsante hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Grodei SC's Augustin Estermann got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th of the match, Roy Thaler tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Oscar Daecher got in the way and made a wonderful save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
