Spectators: 7695 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrick Grossenbacher started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Mesoraca FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Grayson Disler hit a great ball. Massimo Borner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malwin Sforza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Grossenbacher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Mesoraca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Grossenbacher came free, but Malwin Sforza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dario Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mesoraca FC's Grayson Disler got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mesoraca FC's Emmanuel DeGrasse got a free kick in the 28th minute. Dario Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Malwin Sforza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grayson Disler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Roy Mela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Kaiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malwin Sforza having to interfere. Roy Mela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Kämpfer went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Leo Kälin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Malwin Sforza. Mesoraca FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roy Mela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Kämpfer in the 54th minute. Grayson Disler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Roy Mela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Patrick Grossenbacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malwin Sforza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel DeGrasse kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Mesoraca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Kaiser came free, but Malwin Sforza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malwin Sforza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Kaiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Rico Dubois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malwin Sforza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Kaiser in the 68th minute of play. Dario Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Malwin Sforza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Emmanuel DeGrasse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, Mesoraca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel DeGrasse to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Waldheim's Gualtier Schweitzer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Dario Kaiser sped through Mesoraca FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Malwin Sforza. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Kaiser in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malwin Sforza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldheim's Roy Mela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grayson Disler in the 86th minute of play. Grayson Disler struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Roy Mela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mesoraca FC. Patrick Grossenbacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mesoraca FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
