The ball had pretty good speed, but Florian Schwegler firmly grabbed it by the left post. 6 minutes into the game, Emery Courtemanche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lizzana Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ocourt HC the free kick. Emery Courtemanche kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Lizzana Warriors's Florian Schwegler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Lizzana Warriors from getting a goal against them. Morris Rohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ocourt HC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Falk Heller hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morris Rohn in the 15th minute of play forced Ocourt HC's goalkeeper Juerg Zarrella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giraldo Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Juerg Zarrella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Giraldo Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ocourt HC booed when Lizzana Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolaj Stahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olympio Charpie in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Schwegler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Florian Schwegler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olli Nielispach, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lizzana Warriors's Florian Schwegler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Lizzana Warriors from getting a goal against them. Florian Schwegler came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Ocourt HC's Olli Nielispach. But to his dismay, Olli Nielispach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 32nd minute Christopher Anderjoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juerg Zarrella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alvarez Wulf fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lizzana Warriors's protests and gave Alvarez Wulf a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Alvarez Wulf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Olli Nielispach took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Florian Schwegler to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Giraldo Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lizzana Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Giraldo Hitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juerg Zarrella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Morris Rohn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olli Nielispach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Ocourt HC's goalkeeper Juerg Zarrella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giraldo Hitz. After 59 minutes Ocourt HC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Giraldo Hitz who took care of the corner kick. Giraldo Hitz made a great header on Lizzana Warriors's corner, it was just that Ocourt HC's Juerg Zarrella managed to reach the ball for a save. After 62 played minutes Lizzana Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Emery Courtemanche. Paul Wiss hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Florian Schwegler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arrigo Häfeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Ocourt HC got a freekick which was hit by Harald Reufer. Giraldo Hitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juerg Zarrella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giraldo Hitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Arrigo Häfeli's late challenge caught a Lizzana Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo Häfeli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Ocourt HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrigo Häfeli to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Giraldo Hitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolaj Stahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Juerg Zarrella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Lizzana Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giraldo Hitz to maneuver through the defense.
