Gordy Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Maurizio Restle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janning Jolidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jo Briard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Scott Baum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jo Briard having to interfere. If Scott Baum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scott Baum blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jo Briard having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Janning Jolidon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Janisen's supporters rose to their feet, but Janning Jolidon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Briard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Jokers United's goal looked a bit too open when Janning Jolidon came free, but Jo Briard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaques Ehrenbolger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Maurizio Restle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jo Briard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Kaufmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scott Baum in the 37th minute of play forced Jokers United's goalkeeper Jo Briard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Jokers United's goal looked a bit too open when Janning Jolidon came free, but Jo Briard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jo Briard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janning Jolidon in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gordy Medina was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Jokers United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nicolas Aberle hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fc Janisen's Paddy Leuenberger got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaques Ehrenbolger in the 59th minute of play forced Fc Janisen's goalkeeper Maurizio Restle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Fc Janisen's goal looked a bit too open when Gordy Medina came free, but Maurizio Restle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gordy Medina in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurizio Restle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the game, Fc Janisen's Janning Jolidon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jo Briard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Joe von Planta hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Janning Jolidon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jo Briard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Scott Baum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malwin Dietrich kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Geraldo Tobler hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The long shot by Sidonius Bolduc in the 79th minute really tested Jo Briard's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Scott Baum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Janisen's supporters rose to their feet, but Scott Baum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Briard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Scott Baum got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 90 minutes, Paddy Leuenberger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Janisen and the Jokers United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc Janisen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Fc Janisen getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Steffen Pfaff hit a great ball. Fc Janisen's Janning Jolidon got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fc Janisen played a much better game than Jokers United and deserved their victory. The Jokers United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
