In the 7th minute, Christopher Anderjoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute Christopher Anderjoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Briard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Giraldo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Briard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Giraldo Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lizzana Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Giraldo Hitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Briard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Christopher Anderjoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 0-1 became the score in the 23rd minute when Giraldo Hitz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jaques Ehrenbolger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emery Courtemanche hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Lizzana Warriors's Florian Schwegler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Lizzana Warriors from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Jokers United defense, Giraldo Hitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jo Briard. The Jokers United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jo Briard should have stopped the shot. Lizzana Warriors's Giraldo Hitz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Morris Rohn came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Lizzana Warriors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morris Rohn couldn't finish the play. The Jokers United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lizzana Warriors were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giraldo Hitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christopher Anderjoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Giraldo Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jo Briard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giraldo Hitz in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Jokers United's Jo Briard got control of the ball when Giraldo Hitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christopher Anderjoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Lizzana Warriors's Giraldo Hitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jo Briard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Florian Schwegler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaques Ehrenbolger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nicolas Aberle fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jokers United's protests and gave Nicolas Aberle a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Nicolas Aberle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was a brilliant solo performance by Lizzana Warriors's Paul Wiss when he shot the ball into the net to 0-4 in the 79th minute. Giraldo Hitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jo Briard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Anderjoli in the 86th minute of play. Florian Schwegler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordy Medina in the 92nd minute of play. Lizzana Warriors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
