53 minutes into the game, Lorenz Duplanty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abadim Youth Academy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nankatsu SC the free kick. Nankatsu SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thommy Decimo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marius Fröhlicher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thommy Decimo in the 91st minute of play forced Abadim Youth Academy's goalkeeper Marius Fröhlicher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
