Spectators: 7856 (Terracing: 5893, Seating: 1807, VIP seats: 156) Apollo 11's Gunter Schreider started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Apollo 11 booed when Asi Ruh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donatus Wendelspiess didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon Schneebeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Holger Mader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Mader came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Apollo 11's Gunter Schreider. But to his dismay, Gunter Schreider quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Asi Ruh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by MarcoMarcus Jardan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Gunter Schreider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apollo 11's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunter Schreider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jon Schneebeli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Holger Mader. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. After 18 played minutes Asi Ruh got a freekick which was hit by MarcoMarcus Jardan. If Jon Schneebeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Schneebeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, Asi Ruh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatus Wendelspiess to maneuver through the defense. Beatus Fröhlicher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from MarcoMarcus Jardan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Jon Schneebeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Apollo 11's Jon Schneebeli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Holger Mader narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Gunter Schreider got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Holger Mader made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Schneebeli in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Holger Mader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Schneebeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Gunter Schreider scored 5-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Holger Mader, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Asi Ruh's zone, Jon Schneebeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Mader came out of the goal and Jon Schneebeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beatus Fröhlicher made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Giovanni Schmidlin sent off a good shot on target. Jon Schneebeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunter Schreider scored 6-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Holger Mader, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute Gunter Schreider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holger Mader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beatus Fröhlicher made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Giovanni Schmidlin sent off a good shot on target. Lorenzo Neudorf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunter Schreider in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Mader saved Asi Ruh from getting behind. Jon Schneebeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Holger Mader tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Mader showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunter Schreider in the 97th minute of the match.
