A collision led to Montagny HC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Curtiz Blumer hit a great ball. Gerald Colantoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finan Kulenovic having to interfere. If Günter Bonato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Lanzendorfer in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Bircher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Bonenfant in the 16th minute of play forced Trogomare's goalkeeper Pedro Bircher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Heffliger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finan Kulenovic having to interfere. Pedro Bircher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Lanzendorfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Bircher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Lanzendorfer, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 played minutes Montagny HC got a freekick which was hit by Jake Bisang. In the 42nd minute of the match, Gerald Colantoni tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Finan Kulenovic saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Piero Michel hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Lanzendorfer made a kick off. Ben Heffliger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finan Kulenovic having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Günter Bonato kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Bircher. That made the score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. Pedro Bircher was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulus Brandstetter. The audience thought a goal was coming when Günter Bonato got free with Pedro Bircher in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the game, Jake Bisang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montagny HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trogomare the free kick. The supporters of Trogomare booed when Montagny HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jake Bisang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ben Heffliger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Finan Kulenovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Günter Bonato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Finan Kulenovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerald Colantoni in the 73rd minute of the match. Günter Bonato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Pedro Bircher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tobias Lanzendorfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Bircher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Lanzendorfer in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trogomare's goalkeeper Pedro Bircher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Günter Bonato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Pedro Bircher made a huge save. If Tobias Lanzendorfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Montagny HC's Pedro Bircher threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tobias Lanzendorfer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle sounded Montagny HC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Trogomare.
