Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xaver Ruhle started the match with the kick off. Montagny HC's Günter Bonato suffered a sore thigh after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Zinal Chapecoense FC's Valentino Trüller got a free kick in the 7th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Zinal Chapecoense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Lanzendorfer came free, but Maik Graupe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes, Brian Vehma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zinal Chapecoense FC and the Montagny HC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Montagny HC booed when Zinal Chapecoense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brian Vehma didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tobias Lanzendorfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joel Bonenfant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Kuhn's late challenge caught a Montagny HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Kuhn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Brian Vehma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Finan Kulenovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tobias Lanzendorfer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montagny HC's Tobias Lanzendorfer got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobias Lanzendorfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maik Graupe having to interfere. When Jake Bisang came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Montagny HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jake Bisang couldn't finish the play. Mika Schaffhauser's late challenge caught a Montagny HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mika Schaffhauser helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zinal Chapecoense FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Lanzendorfer in the 40th minute of play forced Zinal Chapecoense FC's goalkeeper Maik Graupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Lanzendorfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Maik Graupe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Tobias Lanzendorfer came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Montagny HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Lanzendorfer couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Lanzendorfer made a kick off. Xaver Ruhle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xaver Ruhle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finan Kulenovic having to interfere. A collision led to Montagny HC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jake Bisang hit a great ball. Montagny HC's Tobias Lanzendorfer got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Tobias Lanzendorfer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montagny HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Lanzendorfer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maik Graupe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 played minutes Zinal Chapecoense FC got a freekick which was hit by Hardy Kuester. Tobias Lanzendorfer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maik Graupe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Engele in the 71st minute of play forced Zinal Chapecoense FC's goalkeeper Maik Graupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Mark Engele made a precise shot to the right of Maik Graupe. Zinal Chapecoense FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Montagny HC's Tobias Lanzendorfer got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montagny HC's Tobias Lanzendorfer got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Finan Kulenovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerard Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Montagny HC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Claude came free, but Finan Kulenovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Xaver Ruhle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zinal Chapecoense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xaver Ruhle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Tobias Lanzendorfer sped through Zinal Chapecoense FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maik Graupe. With a little luck, Zinal Chapecoense FC's Maik Graupe got control of the ball when Jake Bisang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Maik Graupe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle sounded Montagny HC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zinal Chapecoense FC.
