Art Zufferey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Henchoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Benny Henchoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rainier Lucciotti managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zug94's supporters rose to their feet, but Rainier Lucciotti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Cicchetti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zug94's zone, Benny Henchoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Art Zufferey came out of the goal and Benny Henchoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michele Zacchia got free with Art Zufferey in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Zug94's Art Zufferey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Henchoz in the 59th minute of play. Rainier Lucciotti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michele Zacchia struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Art Zufferey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aveiro united. Art Zufferey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Henchoz in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, FC Zug94 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kian Bigler to maneuver through the defense. If Michele Zacchia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 81st minute, Michele Zacchia made a precise shot to the right of Art Zufferey. FC Zug94's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, FC Zug94's Art Zufferey got control of the ball when Michele Zacchia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th match minute, FC Zug94 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowan Pollastrini to maneuver through the defense. Sten Cicchetti came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Zug94's Rainier Lucciotti. But to his dismay, Rainier Lucciotti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
