Janis Syz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cäsar Hottiger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Janis Syz might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cäsar Hottiger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Janis Syz ran back to his position shaking his head. Cäsar Hottiger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Janis Syz in the 9th minute. Serenus Nussbaum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beat Murray in the 11th minute of the match. Janis Syz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 minutes, Cyrill Hébert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Florian and the FC Albatros players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Florian's Cäsar Hottiger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Florian from getting a goal against them. Cäsar Hottiger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dany Leibacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cäsar Hottiger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dany Leibacher's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. FC Florian's Cäsar Hottiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dany Leibacher in the 32nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dany Leibacher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cäsar Hottiger was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Dany Leibacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulf Müggler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Albatros booed when FC Florian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Brand didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dany Leibacher was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Dany Leibacher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Florian's Cäsar Hottiger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Janis Syz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dany Leibacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulf Müggler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, FC Florian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyrill Hébert to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Emil Fiorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Albatros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Florian the free kick. Serenus Nussbaum was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Beat Murray capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Beat Murray really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janis Syz in the 76th minute of play forced FC Florian's goalkeeper Cäsar Hottiger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Janis Syz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cäsar Hottiger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cäsar Hottiger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dany Leibacher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cäsar Hottiger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janis Syz in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, FC Florian's goal looked a bit too open when Mika Klein came free, but Cäsar Hottiger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dany Leibacher came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Albatros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dany Leibacher couldn't finish the play. Cäsar Hottiger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dany Leibacher in the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Dany Leibacher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Albatros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dany Leibacher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
