Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Herrenhof's Loic Locher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michael Graf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serenus Nussbaum having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dany Leibacher in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Kraus saved Herrenhof from getting behind. Janis Syz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Herrenhof getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rolando Schwander hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Janis Syz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Scott Jaeger fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Albatros's protests and gave Scott Jaeger a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, FC Albatros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scott Jaeger to maneuver through the defense. Serenus Nussbaum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Sauber in the 27th minute of play. Dany Leibacher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francesco Kraus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Serenus Nussbaum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Graf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Janis Syz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45thth minute of the game Dany Leibacher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herrenhof's Francesco Kraus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Francesco Kraus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dany Leibacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Herrenhof's Rolando Schwander got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Francesco Kraus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dany Leibacher went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 67th match minute, Herrenhof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Schwander to maneuver through the defense. If Mika Klein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Louie Biland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serenus Nussbaum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loic Locher, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Janis Syz came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC Albatros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Janis Syz couldn't finish the play. If Janis Syz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that FC Albatros were the better team. FC Albatros's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
