Grengiols
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dany Leibacher got the match started through his kick off. Grengiols HC's Augustin Graf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janis Syz in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Grengiols HC got a freekick which was hit by Carl Gruenigen. Augustin Graf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janis Syz in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, FC Albatros's Janis Syz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustin Graf made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Dany Leibacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Grengiols HC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Irwin Graziani hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dany Leibacher in the 21st minute of play forced Grengiols HC's goalkeeper Augustin Graf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augustin Graf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dany Leibacher in the 23rd minute of play. When Neil Da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Grengiols HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Da Silva couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grengiols HC's goalkeeper Augustin Graf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, FC Albatros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Neil Da Silva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 32 minutes into the match, FC Albatros's goalkeeper Serenus Nussbaum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Jost. Serenus Nussbaum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Jost, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Dany Leibacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Augustin Graf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Albatros's zone, Neil Da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serenus Nussbaum came out of the goal and Neil Da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC Albatros's Serenus Nussbaum got control of the ball when Joe Jost tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Albatros defense, Joe Jost kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serenus Nussbaum. The FC Albatros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serenus Nussbaum should have stopped the shot. Irwin Graziani kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mika Klein kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Janis Syz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Augustin Graf made a huge save. Serenus Nussbaum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Jost in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Joe Jost notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Albatros's Serenus Nussbaum. Serenus Nussbaum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Grengiols HC's Irwin Graziani got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute of the match Wigand Schott sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augustin Graf skillfully saved the ball. When Mika Klein fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Albatros's protests and gave Mika Klein a yellow card for diving instead. Mika Klein kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Neil Da Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serenus Nussbaum having to make a save. If Neil Da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Albatros's Emil Fiorita got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute Dany Leibacher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Graf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Grengiols HC's zone, Janis Syz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Graf came out of the goal and Janis Syz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janis Syz got free with Augustin Graf in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grengiols HC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Albatros for a fine match.
