Pereira FC's Eric Fässler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurij Tomasi in the 22nd minute of play. Donald Brousse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riccardo Rothschild in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Winkler got free with Eric Fässler in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andy Winkler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Eric Fässler made a huge save. Eric Fässler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurij Tomasi's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Andy Winkler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schmitten's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Winkler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Fässler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Fässler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurij Tomasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Hans Campa's late challenge caught a Pereira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Campa helped the player get up and apologised. Lesley Faber, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 80th minute of the match, Riccardo Rothschild tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Donald Brousse saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Albin Zacchia hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Eric Fässler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Winkler in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Jurij Tomasi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Fässler. Pereira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurij Tomasi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Riccardo Rothschild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Donald Brousse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Schmitten getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hans Campa hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pereira FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
