In the 31st match minute, KF Bashkimi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentiano Heuberger to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes, Rudolfstetten's Rico Boileau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eleasar Vinciguerra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Abt got free with Ulrico Laberge in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaud Bohm kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konstantin Boileau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Ulrico Laberge was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Rudolfstetten defense, Ingvar Ehrler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulrico Laberge. The Rudolfstetten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulrico Laberge should have stopped the shot.
