Spectators: 7700 (Terracing: 5776, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ludwig Nef took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gerry Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilles Twerenbold in the 6th minute of play. Francisco Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Gerry Schneider made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Clayton Zumsteg sent off a good shot on target. Gilles Twerenbold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gerry Schneider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Gerry Schneider successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joel Cippola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Nef, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes, Fritz Schneider mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bignarorc and the Arosio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Bignarorc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fritz Schneider to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Bignarorc got a freekick which was hit by Dragan Padula. Fritz Schneider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ludwig Nef came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Arosio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludwig Nef couldn't finish the play. If Ludwig Nef had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Arosio's Gerry Schneider got control of the ball when Clayton Zumsteg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Arosio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Ludwig Nef took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Cippola. Joel Cippola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reynold Marti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerry Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Schneider in the 53rd minute of play. Ludwig Nef recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bignarorc's Joel Cippola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeus Emmeneger in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bignarorc's Danny Trommler got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 65th match minute, Arosio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garcia Crook to maneuver through the defense. Gerry Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Schneider in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Nef in the 79th minute of play forced Bignarorc's goalkeeper Joel Cippola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Cippola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Nef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philipp Hachée charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philipp Hachée the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Cippola made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Ludwig Nef sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute Gilles Twerenbold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerry Schneider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
