In the 7th minute Francis LondeLalonde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jud Metzger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabian Büchler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Francis LondeLalonde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jud Metzger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, ParisSaintGermain's Thomas Summermatter got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 25th match minute, ParisSaintGermain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Söncke Sieger to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Meisterhans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Jaun went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, ParisSaintGermain's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Büchler came free, but Sergio Meisterhans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Enrico Saenger sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ParisSaintGermain's Sergio Meisterhans didn't even have to move. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulf Enzmann made a kick off. A collision led to F.C. Porto getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Benjamin Rösli hit a great ball. Jud Metzger acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 53rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Romano Soltermann. If Thomas Summermatter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulf Enzmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francis LondeLalonde got free with Jud Metzger in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, F.C. Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Enzmann came free, but Jud Metzger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Ulf Enzmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ParisSaintGermain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulf Enzmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romano Soltermann hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. ParisSaintGermain's Sergio Meisterhans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Büchler in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Albin Jaun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Porto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Jaun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the ParisSaintGermain defense, Fabian Büchler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Meisterhans. The ParisSaintGermain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Meisterhans should have stopped the shot. The long shot by Baruch Williams in the 83rd minute really tested Jud Metzger's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fabian Büchler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albin Jaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Sergio Meisterhans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Meisterhans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Büchler, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Jaun in the 92nd minute of play forced ParisSaintGermain's goalkeeper Sergio Meisterhans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ParisSaintGermain's Sergio Meisterhans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Jaun in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, ParisSaintGermain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolf Wickihalter to maneuver through the defense.
