Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Schläpfer started the match with the kick off. Ludwig Nef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Iten having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Arosio got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Mendes. Gerry Schneider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Caron, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Gerry Schneider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Sanger in the 9th minute of the match. Ludwig Nef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Garcia Crook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludwig Nef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samir Iten having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Motto's Joel Schläpfer got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Motto's Samir Iten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Nef in the 27th minute of play. Joel Schläpfer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerry Schneider read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Samir Iten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Nef, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Samir Iten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeus Emmeneger in the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Arosio got a freekick which was hit by Garcia Crook. Daniel Dali succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 36th playminute. 43 minutes into the match, Motto's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Nef came free, but Samir Iten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Motto getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Stefano Acklin hit a great ball. Gerry Schneider was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Don Caron capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Don Caron really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludwig Nef stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Arosio booed when Motto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Caron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerry Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Caron in the 55th minute of play. After some careless play in the Arosio defense, Daniel Dali kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerry Schneider. The Arosio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerry Schneider should have stopped the shot. Amadeus Emmeneger scored 3-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samir Iten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Joel Schläpfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Derek Sanger made a precise shot to the right of Gerry Schneider. Arosio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. If Daniel Dali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Nef in the 77th minute of play forced Motto's goalkeeper Samir Iten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Florent Straub came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Motto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florent Straub couldn't finish the play. Motto's Don Caron got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derek Sanger in the 92nd minute of play forced Arosio's goalkeeper Gerry Schneider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Joel Schläpfer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Motto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 98 minutes into the game, Florent Straub cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Gerry Schneider was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Motto players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
