Oberglatt54's Alberto Rüegsegger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argus Fassbind in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Joao Kappel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Rüegsegger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Oberglatt54's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Gmür came free, but Alberto Rüegsegger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Rüegsegger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Sperisen in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Oberglatt54 defense, Pier Giger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Rüegsegger. The Oberglatt54 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Rüegsegger should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Anthony Gmür had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Rüegsegger. Oberglatt54's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Gmür was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 48thth minute of the game Joao Kappel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oberglatt54's Alberto Rüegsegger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Pfaffensprung were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Argus Fassbind made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Argus Fassbind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Rüegsegger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Rüegsegger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Sperisen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Sperisen in the 54th minute of play forced Oberglatt54's goalkeeper Alberto Rüegsegger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Alberto Rüegsegger successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pier Giger got free with Alberto Rüegsegger in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Rüegsegger made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Anthony Gmür sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Rüegsegger was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Joe Sperisen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anthony Gmür could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Alberto Rüegsegger made a huge save. With a little luck, Oberglatt54's Alberto Rüegsegger got control of the ball when Anthony Gmür tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute, Pfaffensprung's Joe Sperisen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Rüegsegger. Alberto Rüegsegger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Pfaffensprung left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oberglatt54.
